Bharat Bhumi is considered the land of saints and seekers of spiritual realization. From time immemorial there has been an anxious groping after the unknown reality throughout the nation. In one way or another, efforts have been made to see God face to face. All the resources of human mind, both emotional and intellectual sides, have made efforts to obtain the sacred bliss of Atman - the peace which is beyond all material understanding. From the Vedic times till date, luminaries like Bhagvan Shri VedaVyasa, Shri Rama, Shri Krishna, Shri Buddha, Shri Adi SankaraAcharaya, Shri Vivekananda, Param Pujya Swami Shri Lilashaji Maharaj, Shri Raman Mahrishi & many others incarnated in India, our country is essentially the the land of saints & sages.

From time immemorial India has never been bereft of great men. For the last 45 years the effulgent spiritual wealth of India, Sant Sri Asaramji Bapu has been travelling across the length and breadth of India imparting spiritual knowledge to awaken the masses. His life is a source of inspiration to millions. Under His guidance, some 1300 Yoga Vedanta Seva Samitis have been established, 300Ashrams and 17500 Bal Sanskar Kendras have sprung up. Besides this Gau-Seva centers, de-addiction campaigns, prisoner reformation programs, and many other programs to support tribal people by providing them food, clothes etc. free of charge, are carried out. The number of Bapuji's disciples is in crores across national and international boundaries, and His listeners are in even greater number than his disciples. His main contribution has been the revival of the age old Guru Shishya parampara

Pujya Shri was born at Verani village on April 17, 1941 His father, Shri Thaumal, was a wealthy trader of the area and mother Mata Mehginba was a pious lady. Bapuji grew up to be a sweet tempered boy with prodigious memory. He received his early education from his mother, who taught him meditation and worship of the Lord. Bapuji showed aversion to the education which merely qualifies one to fulfill the worldy desires. Though he could get education up to 3rd standard only, but he is the repository of all knowledge. He left the home at the age of 23 and set out on his journey in the search of God.

"Human soul cannot do without God just as fish, without water."
Thereafter, he never looked back. In the jungles of Nainital, Bapuji met Param Pujya Swami Shri Lilashahji Maharaj, an extremely erudite and self realized saint.

"Re-union of the soul with the Over Soul even after separation of many lives takes practically no time if one meets a True SadhGuru".
The Ganges of knowledge in Bapuji met the ocean in Param Pujya Swami Shri Lilashahji Maharaj, and immersed him in eternal bliss. Sadguru Lilashahji Maharaj having found the sat-patra (the eligible candidate) in Bapuji conferred on him the Supreme wisdom. The human being merged with the divine, the pious soul realized his identity with the eternal Brahman, the indwelling Lord. With SadGuru's grace Asaramji discovered the absolute truth and acted upon his advice of creating awareness among the people and inculcate religious and spiritual thoughts in them besides spreading the message of peace and brotherhood.

Just as the sun alone gives light, which all the stars put together cannot do, so the Sad-Guru alone imparts spiritual wisdom which all the sacred books and sermons cannot infuse. Blessed are those who take delight at his feet! Pujya Bapuji, the personification of compassion, travels across the length and breadth of India to preach the message of Vedanta, Humanity and One Supreme Conscious in all beings. His grace is confined to India alone; Pujya Bapuji has visited several foreign countries and delivered lectures on human values, religion, worship of God, peace and values of truth. Millions of people across the globe are followers of this great Saint.

Asaramji Bapu's sweet eloquence oozes love for all and brings solace to troubled souls engaged in unbridled gratification of senses. Just as the Sun shines for all, rivers benefit all, along its course, wind blows without the slightest discrimination, Saints are the treasure of the society and benefit everyone who takes refuse in their lotus feet. Bapuji's heart is filled with love for the riches as well as the poor, the educated as well as the unlettered, the influential as well as the down trodden. He himself goes to the slums and serves the needy. Under his celestial guidance many BalSanskar Kendra, gurukuls are running to impart the cultural values to the children and restore India's glory of "VISHWA GURU". Several Dhyan Yog Shivir (meditation camps) are organized by Pujya Bapuji where his holiness bestows divine love through the Shaktipata (Transferral of Divine Energy).

What is the real goal of the soul wandering from ages? To attain Perfection. Perfection must be sought in the right place.Thousands of years ago it was discovered in India, that perfection could not be found in the external world, which is impermanent and full of contradictions. Freedom from all limitations is the Vedantic criterion of perfection. Immutable Truth, unity of existence, boundless bliss, this is what is meant by perfection in Vedanta.

There is only one thing, which is free from all limitations of time, space, causation: It is absolute consciousness. It is in the depths of consciousness, that perfection is to be sought. It is this total freedom that is the vedantic criterion of perfection, and the individual who has attained this freedom is the ideal of perfection. He is known as the Bramavit, knower of Brahman.

Sant Shri Asaramji Bapu is the embodiment of this ancient Vedantic ideal of perfection. The ideal person according to Vedanta is one who after attaining liberation for himself strives for the liberation of others. What are the morals of a fully illuminated soul? According to Pujyapad Sant Shri Asaramji Bapu there are three: Renunciation, Knowledge, and Compassion. Such a fully illuminated soul is called a Rishi. It is as a perfect Rishi that Sant Shri Asaramji Bapu is said to be the ideal man & True Yogi of Shrimad Bhagavad Gita & Santana Dharma for modern age.

Unlike the philosopher's stone, which transforms the base metal of life into gold saints company ignites the sanity and leads to self realization.
Sant Shri Asaramji Bapu has poured his whole soul into the betterment of humanity. His benevolence knows no bounds. A glimpse of such great soul takes away one's sins and bestows on him the peace and happiness. Blessed are those who take refuge in him, sing his glory, and spread his message. Our obeisance to Pujya Bapuji! Glory to Pujya Bapuji
